About the Artist

Cynthia Krenzel spent the majority of her career as a clarinetist and professor of music. Since moving to Minusio, in southern Switzerland, her creative energy has gone into working with mosaics in stained glass, ceramic, and stone.

Cynthia's love of animals and passion for creating has been the driving force behind her attention to pet mosaics. "Scout" is Cynthia's dog, and if you are in the region of Minusio you may see her and Scout walking along the Maggia river, along the shores of Lago Maggiore, or hiking in the mountains.
